OUR STORY

Peace for Children, Africa (PCA) was established by Alitia Paul Alishton (“Uncle Paul”) in 2009 as a street child outreach program in the Kisenyi Parish of Kampala.

OUR MISSION

To provide sustainable support to orphans, vulnerable street children, their families and other at-risk populations in a manner that is financially, politically, and socially responsible. We do this through the provision of basic care, advocacy, outreach, counseling, education, opportunities for self-actualization, and resettlement when possible.

Young Mother’s & Women’s Empowerment Programs

Our young mother’s and women’s empowerment programs are designed to create stable livelihoods for single mothers through provision of homes and starter capital for income generation activities (seed capital) for mothers around Kampala and Wakiso districts. This project is still in development and will build on the work already done by Peace for Children Africa for children by providing a real home environment with skills training and capital for income generation.
